Our Background
Ensure Care began back in 2012 after our owner and Care Managing Director, Bally, decided she wanted to take her career in a more compassionate direction. Bally, who had a background in medical sciences and was lecturing in Chemistry, undertook all the Health and Social Care qualifications. She then spent nearly a decade working in both the NHS and private environments in a variety of roles (including caring and pharmaceutical positions) before finally starting Ensure Care.
Bally is hugely passionate about care and now oversees everything that we do at Ensure Care, including training, recruitment and initial assessments with clients. Bally is also contactable 24/7 on an emergency phone for clients and carers who might need her – though no one’s ever had to call it!
Our Ethos
We’re a relatively small company with around 20 employees and this is how we intend to stay. We strongly believe in quality over quantity and keeping the company small allows us to provide personable care of the best quality.
We know how important the care we provide is – it’s vital. We help to give people their independence, their freedom and the chance to make their own choices. We give our clients and their families a whole new lease of life. For these reasons, it’s so important that the care we give is the very best it can be. We do this by ensuring all our carers are reliable and punctual but above all, kind, compassionate and warm. Our recruitment process is rigorous and thorough, ensuring we hire only those who have the right qualities to deliver care to our high standards. We then back that up with an in depth training process.
Striving to Provide the Best Care
Providing the best care for our clients means looking after our employees too. If our carers are well cared for themselves, and we invest in them, then they are well equipped to provide our clients with the best care. We do this by:
Constant training – After we’ve interviewed and assessed someone we’ll provide them with their initial training. Once they’re employed by us they’ll receive monthly training to keep their skills topped up and up to date. They’ll also receive regular specialist training for any clients who need more specialist care.
Emotional support – Sometimes caring can be tough for the people providing the care. It’s both a physically and an emotionally demanding role. We make sure we’re here for our team to lean on and to talk to, should times get tough.
Company cars – We give our staff company cars meaning they can easily reach people in even the most rural parts of the county.
With practical experience, lots of training, and support from Bally and the team, our carers are hugely confident and can provide our clients with consistent, quality care.
We’re always here to talk about your care needs. Call us on 01926 431925 to talk about how we can help you.
